Billy Gunn joins AEW in a producer role

Former WWE Tag Team champion Billy Gunn has signed with All Elite Wrestling as a producer.

Gunn was part of the All In Over The Budget battle royal this past September but will now be taking a backstage role with the company.

Gunn worked for WWE for several years and his last role was a trainer at the WWE Performance Center while also heping out with NXT shows. However, he lost his job in November 2015 after he tested positive for elevated levels of testosterone after he participated in a powerlifting competition a few months earlier.

Gunn’s former tag team partner Road Dogg has a similar role within WWE.
