WWE and Impact officials meet in Stamford at WWE headquarters

PWinsider.com is reporting that Impact’s Ed Nordholm and Scott D’Amore traveled to Stamford, Connecticut and met with several WWE officials at the company’s headquarters last week.

WWE Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon was not present for the meeting but PWInsider says several members from Triple H’s department attended.

PWInsider adds that the meeting was a general discussion between reps of the two companies and did not involve a specific subject such as a sale. Since Anthem took over Impact Wrestling, WWE has worked with them when it comes to licensing specific video footage in return of payment and promotion for the Global Wrestling Network streaming service.

While Impact officials declined to comment to PWInsider when asked about the meeting, one source stressed that the discussion of a sale was not on the agenda.
