NXT’s Velveteen Dream will be wrestling for EVOLVE at two of their live events on September 7 and 8, to be held respectively in Joppa, Maryland, and Queens, New York.

Dream’s opponents at EVOLVE 112 and 113 are not known yet and EVOLVE said that WWE.COM will be revealing his challengers in the days to come.

“Let’s just kill this narrative now. Dream was requested by us because of his history at the MCW Arena in Joppa, MD. We wanted a homecoming,” EVOLVE’s Gabe Sapolsky wrote on Twitter.

“He was then asked to do Queens, to give the fans something special at La Boom. Dream was not ‘sent’ by anyone, he agreed and wanted to,” Sapolsky continued.

Over the last year or so, the 23-year-old Dream has taken NXT by storm and has become one of the most popular stars down in Orlando.
