Monday Night Raw tonight will have the much-hyped “historic announcement” which Stephanie McMahon will be delivering during the broadcast.

While nothing has been confirmed yet, the rumored announcement is the creation of a women-only pay-per-view that might take place in October to coincide with the Susan G. Komen campaign and the launch of the Women Tag Team titles which according to the same rumors it will be a cross-brand title.

WWE has moved the October TLC pay-per-view to December, eliminating Clash of Champions completely from the schedule. The only PPV set for October is the Australian mega show at The MCG so adding the women’s PPV to the October schedule makes the most sense.
