Asuka to make main roster debut at TLC pay-per-view

A date has finally been confirmed for the arrival of the Empress of Tomorrow, with Asuka making her main roster debut at the Tables, Ladders, and Chairs pay-per-view on October 22.

The former NXT Women’s champion has been out of in-ring action since the day after NXT Takeover: Brooklyn III. At Takeover: Brooklyn III she successfully defended the title against Ember Moon but suffered a broken collarbone in the process. At the following NXT television tapings, Asuka relinquished the title to NXT General Manager William Regal, ending her 523-day title reign undefeated.

The Japanese star is the 7th longest reigning champion in WWE history.
