Low Ki departs Global Force Wrestling

PWInsider.com is reporting that Low Ki is the latest one to have departed Global Force Wrestling due to creative differences.

The 37-year-old former X-Division champion had four stints with the company dating back to their early days in 2002. His latest return was in April of this year and immediately won the X-Division title for the fifth time in his first match back.

In an episode of Impact that aired earlier this month, Low Ki joined LAX and attacked Alberto El Patron. The two had to wrestle on the Destination X-themed episode of Impact last week but since El Patron was still suspended, the match was scrapped.

Low Ki was part of the 20-man gauntlet match for the vacant GFW World title which will air tomorrow on POP.

PWInsider adds that the split was “amicable” although there were some sources who suggested that another reason he’s gone is due to money.
