The main event for the Raw-only pay-per-view Fastlane was set last night on Monday Night Raw, and the outcome of the match could alter another match at WrestleMania.

WWE Universal champion Kevin Owens will be defending the title against Goldberg, who interrupted the segment between Owens and Jericho during the show. Goldberg wrote himself on the list and then, all pissed off, Jericho accepted Goldberg’s challenge for the Universal title on behalf of his friend.

During the same segment, Goldberg also accepted Brock Lesnar’s challenge for one final match at WrestleMania. If Goldberg manages to defeat Kevin Owens at Fastlane, he will go to WrestleMania as the Universal champion, making Lesnar the number one contender for the title.
