Tajiri returning to WWE full time in 2017

Former WWE Superstar Tajiri announced on his Twitter that he will be returning to the WWE on a full-time basis starting in the beginning of 2017.

Tajiri wrote that he got the okay to publish the news from NXT General Manager William Regal after the NXT live event in Osaka, suggesting that he might stop in NXT before heading to the main roster. He added that his last performance in Japan will be on December 27.

The man known as the Japanese Buzzsaw made his WWE debut in 2001 and wrestled his last match for WWE in 2005. He then popped up at the ECW One Night Stand pay-per-view in 2006 for one more match.

Tajiri participated in the Cruiserweight Classic this year and defeated Damien Slater in the first round before being eliminated by Gran Metalik in the next round. He wrestled yesterday at the NXT live event in Osaka, teaming up with Akira Tozawa to take on DIY.
