The semi-finals of the Smackdown Tag Team title tournament were set last night with two more teams advancing.

The Hype Bros defeated The Vaudevillains in the first match while Heath Slater and Rhyno defeated the returning Headbangers in the other quarter-final. The two have joined American Alpha, who defeated Breezango, and The Usos, who defeated The Ascension, last week.

The semi-final matches now involve American Alpha vs The Usos and Hype Bros vs Heath Slater and Rhyno. The final of the tournament will be held at Backlash on September 11, the first Smackdown-only PPV event which is exclusively on the WWE Network.
