WWE cruiserweights to work both Raw and NXT

During a conference call with reporters to promote this Saturday’s NXT Takeover: Brooklyn II event, Triple H said that NXT will get an influx of cruiserweights moving forward who will all be part of the Raw cruiserweight division as well.

HHH explained that those signed to a deal will be working Monday Night Raw, NXT live events, and NXT television. He said that the company is trying to sign a lot of different cruiserweights from all around the world to create this new division. Triple H also added that the reason they’re going to Raw and not Smackdown is because Raw needs more talent due to the 3 hour running time.

Triple H failed to reveal whether the final of the Cruiserweight Classic tournament will crown the new WWE Cruiserweight champion and said that we all have to wait and see.
