The first ever encounter between John Cena and AJ Styles will take place at the Money In The Bank pay-per-view this month and it will be Cena’s first match since late December and his first one on pay-per-view since October.

The match was announced on WWE.COM yesterday and comes after The Club viciously attacked Cena on his first night back on Raw this past Monday.

“It’s been called a #DreamMatch. Now, after 15 years of wondering “what if,” @WWENetwork finally brings you AJ Styles vs. Cena @WWE #MITB,” Cena wrote on Twitter after the announcement.

“It’s like WrestleMania comes early,” AJ Styles said in a Facebook Live post. He said what he did to Cena on Monday is just a small dose of what he can do to him come Money In The Bank. He said on Raw this Monday he will explain why this is a dream match for him.
