CM Punk’s first opponent was revealed last night at UFC Fight Night 82 as 24 year old Mickey Gall got his reward for defeating Mike Jackson in the first round during the preliminary fights on UFC Fight Pass.

It took just 45 seconds for Gall to submit Jackson and following his fight in the Octagon, Gall went full-on Ryback and announced, “I’m hungry. Feed me CM Punk please!” Punk, who was sitting at cageside to watch the fight, then entered the Octagon and shook hands with his opponent but did not speak to the crowd.

Following their face off in the cage, Punk told MMAFighting.com, “Very impressive. That’s how I want to win a fight, no damage, he can go back right away. That was impressive.”

Gall is now 2-0 in his professional MMA fighting career and Punk is obviously still 0-0. No date has been set yet for the two but it could be either UFC 199 in June or UFC 200 in July.
