Seth Rollins undergoes successful knee surgery

Seth Rollins underwent successful knee surgery yesterday in Birmingham, Alabama, to repair the ACL, MCL, and meniscus, an injury he suffered during the first day of the WWE European tour last week in Dublin, Ireland.

The operation was conducted by Dr. Jeffrey Dugas at the Andrews Sports Medicine & Orthopaedic Center and it involved rebuilding the former champ’s knee. A team of five other doctors and medical personnel assisted with the operation. Rollins is expected to be out for up to 9 months, missing WrestleMania next year in Dallas, Texas.

Judging from photos published by WWE.COM, it seems that WWE Network cameras were present, possibly there to capture the process for a future WWE Network original program.

Raw this past Monday was the first program that did not involve Seth Rollins ever since he made his WWE debut in 2012. He held the record for appearing in every single Raw show since he was called up from NXT.
