The story of Brock Lesnar throwing the car door into the stands on Monday Night Raw was picked up by several news outlets including USA Today, New York Daily News, CBS Sports, Vice, Uproxx, and even CNN, where it made the front page news.

The New York Daily News reached out to WWE to get their take on the story and the company issued a small statement regarding the incident. “WWE immediately responded to the incident during last night’s show. The fan was unharmed and declined any medical attention,” the statement read.

Eye witness reports said that paramedics attended to the fan who was struck with the car door and he was transferred backstage and then allowed to leave and go back to take his seat after a few.

Cadillac was trending on Twitter yesterday in relation to the Brock story which probably isn’t the best advertising the company could have asked for.
