WWE revenues by business segment for Q2 2017

Out of the nine main WWE business segments, eight of them registered an increase compared to the prior year quarter while only one saw a drop.

Network revenues, which include revenue generated by WWE Network and pay-per-view, increased 6% to $54.9 million. WWE Network subscription revenue increased 7% to $49.1 million from $45.9 million in the prior year quarter; Television revenues increased 18% to $66.2 million from $56.1 million in the prior year quarter; Live Event revenues increased to $52.8 million as compared to $51.9 million in the prior year quarter; Home Entertainment increased by $100,000 to $3.1 million; Digital Media increased to $8.1 million from $6.5 million; Licensing revenue increased 4% to $9.4 million; WWE Shop revenues increased 12% to $8.4 million; WWE Studios increased slightly from $3.2 million to $3.5 million.

The only segment that made less money was venue merchandise which decreased to $6.8 million from $8.7 million in the prior year quarter. WWE attributed this to a lower attendance for WrestleMania compared to last year.
