WWE Network reaches 1.8 million subscribers

WWE today announced that there are a total of 1,820,000 subscribers receiving the WWE Network as of yesterday, thanks to the massive #FreeWrestleMania promotion the company did over the past month. It was the first time that WrestleMania was part of a free month since the Network’s inception.

Out of the 1,820,000 subscribers, 370,000 opted to take the free month promotion and there are 1,454,000 paid subscribers. The last number that WWE announced for the Network was of 1,217,000 paid subscribers, a number which counted subs up until the end of Q4 2015.

From the 370,000 subscribers who are on a free month, 281,000 of those are from the United States while the rest are International subscribers. When taking the 1.8 million subscribers figure, 1,390,000 subs are domestically and 434,000 are International.

The night after WrestleMania XXX, WWE announced a total of 667,000 subscribers and the night after WrestleMania 31 they announced 1,315,000 subscribers. From WrestleMania 31 to WrestleMania 32 the WWE Network saw an increase of just over 500,000 subscribers.
