Wooo! The Nature Boy Ric Flair returns to WWE

Wooooo! Guess who’s back? The sixteen time former champion Ric Flair returned to WWE yesterday during the three hour Slammy Awards edition of Monday Night RAW.

Flair appeared at the top of the second hour to present the award of Superstar of the Year award to John Cena. Cena eventually gave the award to Flair but the Flair welcome was quickly cut off by the reigning, defending, WWE champion CM Punk and his sidekick Paul Heyman.

CM Punk ran down the two time WWE Hall of Famer, calling him a loser just like the rest of the people in Philadelphia. Flair challenged Punk and walked down to the ring. Punk hit Flair with his crutches and imitated Flair’s strut. Flair eventually stood up and poked Punk in the eye and then locked the figure four on Paul Heyman.

The Shield interrupted Flair’s speech after getting rid of Heyman and Punk and attacked Flair. Kane and Daniel Bryan came to help but were laid out as well. Just before The Shield triple power bombed Flair through the table, Ryback came out to save the day. Flair, Kane, Bryan, and Ryback then celebrated in the ring.

Flair last appeared on a WWE show earlier this year when he was granted permission by TNA to appear at the Hall of Fame ceremony and the next day at WrestleMania.
