Steve Austin reveals why he’s not interviewing Shane McMahon on the WWE Network

During his latest podcast, Stone Cold Steve Austin revealed that the reason he’s not doing the Shane McMahon interview is because he’s still in a sling following shoulder surgery.

Austin had the injury for a while and his involvement at WrestleMania 32 didn’t help things. The WWE Hall of Famer underwent surgery following the show to repair the problem and decided it was better sit at home and fully recover before hopping on planes and start traveling. The Rattlesnake expects to be in a sling for another month before he can start doing things.

The Stone Cold Podcast has been one of the most popular series on the WWE Network and the most watched apart from the live events. So far he has interviewed Vince McMahon, Triple H, Paul Heyman, Paige, Edge & Christian, Brock Lesnar, Shawn Michaels, Ric Flair, Big Show and Mick Foley.

Mick Foley will be sitting in for Austin for the Shane McMahon interview on the WWE Network which will take place live after Monday Night Raw on May 23.
