Backstage segment with Dusty teddy bear doesn’t go down well with Cody Rhodes

Cody Rhodes was all but impressed with the segment on Raw last night that involved a teddy bear wearing his father’s famous polka dot theme.

The backstage segment with Goldust, R-Truth, Bayley, Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows saw Bayley giving Goldust the teddy bear as a present saying, “I wouldn’t be the number one contender for the Raw Women’s championship today if it wasn’t for the guidance and support I got at NXT from your dad, the American Dream, Dusty Rhodes.

Bayley continued, “I owe him everything, and I loved him very much.” Goldust said it was the sweetest gift and told her that his father loved her too.

At that point, The Club entered the picture and made fun of Goldust and his teddy bear, then Anderson grabbed the teddy bear and ripped his head off as the crowd oooh’ed in the background.

After the segment, the man formerly known as Stardust went on Twitter to express his disappointment. “Not gonna’ say something mean or blow a whistle. All I can say…is that whoever produced that, I hope they never know what this feels like.”
