Actual WrestleMania 32 attendance not far off from announced figure

The Wrestling Observer is reporting that the actual attendance for WrestleMania 32 was 97,769, much higher that the company expected and it was thanks to a large amount of last minute standing room only tickets being sold.

The announced gate money of over $17 million is based off that actual number while the company announced an inflated number of 101,763 as the official attendance. For comparisons, WrestleMania III had just over 78,000 tickets sold with an attendance announced of 93,173.

Inflated number or not, WrestleMania 32 at the AT&T Stadium still broke all WWE records and sits in first place when it comes to both attendance and gate money. The other WrestleManias which make up the top 10 attendance wise are WrestleMania III with 93,173, WrestleMania 29 with 80,676, WrestleMania 23 with 80,103, WrestleMania 28 with 78,363, WrestleMania 31 with 76,976, WrestleMania 30 with 75,167, WrestleMania 24 with 74,635, WrestleMania 25 with 72,744, and WrestleMania 26 with 72,219.
