Dana White doesn’t think CM Punk will have one more fight in the UFC

UFC President Dana White does not think that former WWE champion CM Punk will remain in the UFC after his first-round loss to Mickey Gall at UFC 203 last month.

Speaking on UFC Tonight on FOX Sports 1, White told hosts Kenny Florian and Daniel Cormier that its more than likely it was the first and only fight for Punk in the organization.

“Is CM Punk going to be a guy who is going to stay in the UFC and continue to fight? Probably not, but he wanted to try it,” White said.

He added that he likes and respects Punk, he wanted to fight, he gave him the opportunity and trained for two years for it and ultimately he did it.

Punk is still on the UFC payroll and he has not been officially released.
