WWE Women’s Tag Team titles to be defended across all brands

The WWE Women’s Tag Team titles will be defended across all three WWE brands – Raw, Smackdown, and even NXT.

The brand-new champions, Sasha Banks and Bayley, announced last night on Raw that they will accept all challengers from “past, present, and future.” With the women’s roster not deep enough, the new WWE Women’s Tag Team titles are the only titles which will be cross-brand and whoever the champions are will be appearing on different shows to defend them.

The idea was always to have one set of champions for the women unlike the men’s where there are tag team titles for Raw, Smackdown, and NXT.
