WWE to make announcements regarding the future of the UK Championship brand

Triple H told the UK-based Mirror newspaper that WWE will me making announcements about the future of the UK Championship brand moving forward at the upcoming show at the Royal Albert Hall in June.

“That brand still remains very near and dear to me and it’s something I want to move on. It’s taking a little bit longer than I anticipated in getting things done and getting them done in the way I want them to get done… but it’s happening,” Triple H said.

The original plans called for WWE to have its own UK brand doing tours around the country and even the possibility of opening a UK-based Performance Center. Whether those plans are the same remain to be seen.

As for the announcements that will be made at the Royal Albert Hall, Triple H added, “It will be meaningful to everybody there and over there and I look forward to showcasing the UK talent to the world.”
