The X account @WrestleVotes is reporting that WWE is planning to hold its May 2026 premium live event in Italy.
The country was promised a PLE in 2026 and it looks like Backlash will be the one which will be taking place from the still-to-be determined venue and location.
The PLE was held in Lyon, France in 2024, making for one of the most incredible shows thanks in part to the energized crowd which is still yet to be topped.
Apart from the Royal Rumble which is in Saudi Arabia, this would be the second premium live event outside the United States for 2026.
