After the man formerly known as Alberto Del Rio posted a statement on his Twitter regarding his future and recent departure from WWE, WWE posted a statement of their own regarding the situation.

“Following his departure from WWE, former WWE Superstar Alberto Del Rio and WWE have reached a mutual understanding with regard to his future booking opportunities. WWE wishes Alberto the best in his future endeavors.”

As previously noted, the two parties have now settled their differences and have agreed not to put each other in bad light moving forward. WWE originally prevented Del Rio from wrestling in the United States for a year after he was fired but Del Rio was ready to take matters to court if the company didn’t allow him to wrestle where he wants.
