WWE Network launched in over 170 countries today

It’s another big day for WWE as the WWE Network today launches internationally in over 170 countries, bringing the over-the-top streaming service to fans worldwide who have been shut-out from the February 24 launch earlier this year.

Most of the countries that will get the Network today will be able to stream it on their Android and iOS devices, as well as Roku, Xbox and Playstation consoles, and Amazon devices. Each country is different and WWE.COM has a list of how they will receive the Network depending on the availability. The list can be accessed here.

The price is $9.99 a month with a six month commitment and if you don’t want to be tied up for six months you can pay monthly for an increased price of $19.99.

The WWE Network in Canada, also launching today, will be a bit different, with Rogers Communications handling the traditional TV channel for its subscribers with no OTT service available for Canadian fans for now.

The United Kingdom will get its Network on October 1 while other countries such as Italy, UAE, Germany, Japan, India, China, Thailand and Malaysia still don’t have a date for launch, presumably due to television deals currently in place.
