WWE issues statement supporting inclusive society and condemning racial injustice

Reacting to the current situation in the United States with protests all over the country stemming from the death of George Floyd, WWE follows the footsteps of many brands and corporations by supporting their black performers.

“WWE supports an inclusive society and condemns racial injustice. We stand beside our Black performers, employees and fans around the world, and encourage everyone to use their voice to speak out against racism,” WWE said in a statement. “We offer our sincere condolences to the family of George Floyd and the families of countless others who have lost their lives due to senseless violence.”

Yesterday was Blackout Tuesday where most photos posted on social media included only a black tile. WWE also changed the profile picture of their social media accounts to just a black background in support of the cause.
