WWE Intercontinental title triple threat match added to November 1 SNME

The WWE Intercontinental title will be defended on Saturday Night’s Main Event this weekend in a triple threat match after last night’s #1 contender match ended in a no contest following the interference of Los Americanos.

El Grande Americano along with Bravo and Rayo attacked challengers Rusev and Penta during their match, causing a non-finish and leaving champ Dominik Mysterio with no opponent.

Raw General Manager Adam Pearce was not impressed with what happened, even though Mysterio played dumb and didn’t know the attack was going to happen, suggesting that Rusev and Penta should now go after Los Americanos. But Pearce shot down that idea and instead made Mysterio defend the title in a triple threat match this Saturday.

It is the fourth match on the card following Cody Rhodes vs Drew McIntyre for the WWE title, CM Punk vs Jey Uso for the vacant WWE World Heavyweight title, and Tiffany Stratton vs Jade Cargill for the WWE Women’s title.
