WWE holding tryouts for independent wrestlers at Performance Center

WWE is currently holding tryouts at the WWE Performance Center where this time, several independent wrestlers have been invited. Past tryouts mainly featured college athletes with little to no wrestling experience.

Cassidy Haynes of Bodyslam.net is reporting that in total, 12 individuals are going through several training exercises and showcases with the hopes of scoring a WWE developmental contract.

Those at the tryouts include Brogan Finlay, Copeland Barbee, David Goldy, Jay Malachi, Richard Holliday, Jamie Stanley, Ray Jaz, Damaris Largo, Hollyhood Haley J, Kelsey Heather, Valentina Rossi, and Madi Wrenkowski.

The most notable name is Richard Holliday, the former MLW Tag Team champion with MJF. Holliday had stage 4 Hodgkin’s lymphoma and recently returned to the ring.

Several of the names listed also wrestled on AEW Dark in the past.
