WWE and E! looking at future collaborations involving husband and wife Superstars

While Total Divas and Total Bellas are no longer being produced by WWE for E!, Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer is reporting that the two companies are looking at future collaborations revolving around real-life wrestling couples.

Meltzer noted that a couple who has been mentioned is Chelsea Green and her husband Matt Cardona. Green, who has left Impact Wrestling is rumored to have signed a WWE deal and there are whispers that WWE is trying to get Matt Cardona, the man formerly known as Zack Ryder, back on board again. In a recent interview, Cardona said he would definitely listen to a WWE offer and the former Intercontinental champion’s career really sky rocketed ever since he was released from WWE.

WWE has several husband-and-wife teams on their roster, including Karrion Kross and Scarlett, Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch, Sarah Logan and Erik, and others.

The Miz and Maryse already have their own show on USA Network titled Miz & Mrs while Montez Ford and Bianca Belair will have a show on Hulu.
