WrestleMania ends up being The Undertaker’s last ride

In a symbolic show of retirement, The Undertaker left the Camping World Stadium like Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Terminator character did in the second movie: fist up and lowered into the bottom of the ramp.

The Undertaker suffered his second WrestleMania loss last night against Roman Reigns following four spears, and as old school tradition goes, he “passed the torch” to the future of the company.

Following the match, The Undertaker wore his jacket and hat again while the replays were going on and then undressed again, leaving his gloves, jacket, and hat neatly in the middle of the ring before exiting. He hugged his family who were at ringside and then proceeded to walk up the ramp and descended through the trap door in the middle of the long, and high, entrance ramp. The final minutes of the show were all a celebration of the greatest character in the history of professional wrestling, giving The Undertaker a fitting farewell on the stage he was famous for.

With the addition of Jim Ross calling this match, the company is treating this as The Undertaker’s final match and then started the #ThankYouTaker hash tag on social media.

Tonight’s Raw will probably paint a better picture although it will be interesting to see if The Undertaker appears for one final time before the craziest crowd of the year.
