WrestleMania 37 looking like it’s moving out of California and heading to Florida

Multiple sources are confirming that WrestleMania 37 is heading out of the state of California and will not be held at the brand new SoFi Stadium in Inglewood as originally announced.

There are not much details at this point about the reversal of the decision but things are looking up for Florida as Tampa Bay is once again being talked about to host next year’s WrestleMania. Tampa was originally set to host this year’s Mania but coronavirus changed everything and the show moved to the Performance Center in Orlando.

Tampa will also host the Super Bowl next year in February so it would be a double whammy for the city if it also gets WrestleMania a month later. The Super Bowl is also set for the Raymond James Stadium.

The news of WrestleMania going to Hollywood was announced in February of this year, with the show planned for the SoFi Stadium and the other supporting events at the STAPLES Center. But last month, the STAPLES Center booked two concerts on the days that Smackdown and NXT Takeover were supposed to take place, raising suspicions that WWE would not be holding WrestleMania week in the city.
