William Regal appears for NXT, to send his son Charlie Dempsey to All Japan for title match

With his one year AEW no-compete over, William Regal appeared in a WWE video where he publicly announced for the first time that NXT’s Charlie Dempsey is his son and he will be sending him to All Japan Pro Wrestling to wrestle for the AJPW Triple Crown title.

Addressing the fans at All Japan Pro Wrestling, he introduced himself as Lord Steven Regal and William Regal who works with WWE. He explained that he wrestled in Japan in the past but now there’s a new generation of European wrestlers.

“Now I am sending to you what I consider the best up and coming wrestler of the old traditional European style wrestling,” Regal said, introducing Charlie Dempsey as his son.

Two days ago, AJPW President Tsuyoki Fukada did a video where he was on the phone with someone from WWE and he asks for a Superstar to come over. AJPW’s New Year Giant Series will take place on on January 3 from the Korakuen Hall in Tokyo.
