Will WWE show up at NBC Universal upfronts event tomorrow?

NBC Universal will hold its upfront presentations tomorrow, Monday, May 12, and it might give a glimpse if WWE is featured in their upcoming plans or if they decided to pass on on WWE programming.

Unlike previous years, NBC will present their portfolio for all their TV properties at once, with an event held at the Javits Center in New York City.

Usually WWE always has a presence at these upfronts, sending their Superstars and Divas to mingle with other celebrities to promote WWE programming, all of which currently air on NBC Universal properties.

WWE is currently in negotiations for a renewal of all their shows and talks between the two companies ended at the end of February, with NBC still having the right to match any offer before WWE moves to a different network.

If no WWE presence is at the upfronts event it might mean that WWE is moving to a new network although nothing is for sure until WWE makes the announcement which is expected to be this month.

If WWE moves, the change will not happen until October 1.
