Wade Barrett returns on Smackdown

Former Nexus leader Wade Barrett returned to WWE television during yesterday’s edition of Smackdown, defeating Yoshi Tatsu in his first match back since the end of February.

Barrett was initially diagnosed to be out only for eight weeks after suffering a partial dislocation of his left elbow. His injury occurred during a RAW battle royal when the Big Show threw Dolph Ziggler over the top rope and onto Barrett and R-Truth.

Barrett eventually decided to undergo surgery to repair his elbow, putting him on a seven month layoff.
