Wade Barrett out with neck injury

Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet and formerly of TMZ Sports is reporting that Wade Barrett is out due to a nerve injury in his neck however the injury isn’t deemed to be that serious and will be back soon.

Barrett was absent from the TLC pay-per-view and from Monday Night Raw but his absence was not explained on television. Satin says that according to sources close to Barrett, the former Intercontinental champion received a bad stinger while wrestling a few weeks ago and now he’s on the sidelines to let it heal.

Last year Barrett was out for five months due to a shoulder injury that required surgery.
