UFC star Michael Chandler to appear on NXT next week

UFC star Michael Chandler will be appearing at next week’s NXT on The CW at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.

In a video posted on his Instagram, Chandler offered NXT General Manager Robert Stone some assistance to keep things in check for the Cruz Montana vs Dion Lennox unsanctioned match which will take place on the broadcast.

Stone immediately accepted the offer, telling Chandler that he’s “making this too easy” for him.

The 40-year-old is coming off a streak of four consecutive losses and last fought at the UFC Freedom 250 event in June.

Chandler is a huge WWE fan and had visited the PC before, expressing interest in jumping to WWE if the opportunity ever arises.

Next week, NXT airs on Wednesday instead of its regular Tuesday slot due to the U.S. mid-term elections.
