Tournament final for the WWE Women’s Tag Team titles set for Raw

The final match of the WWE Women’s Tag Team titles tournament was set last night on Smackdown and will pit Dakota Kai and IO SKY vs Raquel Rodriguez and Aliyah.

Kai and SKY beat Tamina and Dana Brooke in the first round and then defeated Alexa Bliss and Asuka in the semi final. Raquel and Aliyah beat Xia Li and Shotzi and then Natalya and Sonya Deville yesterday to advance.

Natalya and Sonya won a second chance fatal four-way tag team match last night after Gigi Dolin and Jayc Jane were taken out of the tournament due to an injury. Ironically, Toxic Attraction replaced Zoey Stark and Nikkita Lyons who were originally in the tournament but Stark was injured too.

The two teams will now meet together this coming Monday on Raw to determine the new WWE Women’s Tag Team champions after the titles were vacated by Sasha Banks and Naomi in May.
