This episode of Total Divas was jammed packed with the drama that fans of the show have come to love, and newcomer Ronda Rousey, has certainly not been exempt from a share of it.
Apparently, the Divas are not happy that the former UFC star, has come on the scene. This is particularly true since Rousey has become a heel. She has begun to insult wrestlers claiming to be acting, however, some of her comments have hit close to home for some in the locker room, particularly Nia Jax.
Jax accused Rousey of being disrespectful to her fellow wrestlers in a promo. Rousey was accosted backstage and was screamed at by Jax. The whole locker room was once again startled at Jax’s anger as Jax has been picking fights with several of her fellow Superstars lately. However, no one seemed to know why.
Jax also has gotten into a fight with Carmella where she called Carmella “fake” in a previous episode. However, it was this latest fight with Rousey that seemed to push Nia over the edge. Finally, Nia apologized to Rousey, admitting the she felt insecure about her own place in the company since she and Rousey have similar wrestling styles. All was forgiven and the two are friends again.
Meanwhile, Ronda had another issue to deal with. Her husband, Travis, has plans for Rousey, after her WWE career is over. She has always had difficulty finding workout wear due to her muscular build, so her husband thought that she might enjoy making her own workout clothes. The line would feature clothes which would be made for more built women. Travis seemed very pleased with the sample clothes, and Rousey thought that the outfits worked well too. However, she didn’t know how she felt about being in the apparel industry. She was hesitant about wearing her own clothes. She also felt no interest in being a boss. However, her husband’s enthusiasm was apparently catching because she agreed to try. So, we might be seeing Rousey wear in stores soon.
Meanwhile, the other Divas were busy having a girls trip in Florida.
As with all Diva road trips, this one was jam-packed with drama, Naomi thought that her friends, Payton Royce, and Billie Kay were feeling homesick for their native Australia, so she thought that a beach trip would cheer them up. Most Diva road trips include lots of drinking and partying, which unbeknownst to Naomi, The IIconics don’t do.
In fact, they chose to leave early. After they left, the rest of the girls really got down to partying. After a drunken night of bar hopping, Liv Morgan invited dozens of strangers over for a party. In turn, the strangers brought over a keg. At first, Naomi protested because she and her husband had paid for a villa which the party guests were busy destroying. Then, her friends reminded her that girls trips were for getting into trouble. This means that as long as there are girls trips there will plenty of drama for fans of the show!
