The last COVID-hit Raw of 2021 live tonight from Detroit

The road to Day 1 continues tonight with a final stop at the Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Michigan with Monday Night Raw.

This and tomorrow’s NXT are the last two live WWE broadcasts of 2021 as Smackdown this Friday is a taped best-of show airing on FS1. But the show will be hit by several talent missing due to coronavirus, some of who tested positive, and some of who are being kept away as a precaution to save this Saturday’s pay-per-view.

PWInsider.com adds that quite a few WWE producers have tested positive for COVID-19 and will be missing the show, with the load of a three-hour broadcast needed to be shared among a handful of people only, making their job a bit more difficult than usual.

Five matches have been announced for the broadcast including AJ Styles vs Omos, Finn Balor vs Austin Theory, Damian Priest vs Dolph Ziggler for the United States title, Randy Orton vs Otis, and The Street Profits vs Rey and Dominik Mysterio. Plus, Miz and Maryse will renew their wedding vows!
