Stratton and Owens complete Money In The Bank ladder matches participants

The final two participants in the Money In The Bank ladder matches qualified last night on Smackdown.

In the women’s qualifier, former WWE Women’s champion Tiffany Stratton defeated Tatum Paxley and Candice LeRae in a triple threat match, with Stratton hitting the PME for the pinfall victory in a well-executed finisher involving all three women.

Later in the show, Kevin Owens, sporting a black Ben armband in honor of Ben “Pac” Satterley, defeated Cody Rhodes and Johnny Gargano in a triple threat match to advance. Owens pinned Gargano while Randy Orton prevented Rhodes from breaking up the pin.

The women’s match will now feature Sol Ruca vs Lola Vice vs Jacy Jayne vs Roxanne Perez vs Lash Legend vs Tiffany Stratton while the men’s match will have Bron Breakker vs Je’Von Evans vs Trick Williams vs Penta vs CM Punk vs Kevin Owens.
