Stephanie Vaquer wins the WWE Women’s World title at live event in Santiago, Chile

Stephanie Vaquer regained the WWE Women’s World title at a non-televised live event in her home country of Chile yesterday night.

The crowd at the Movistar Arena in Santiago absolutely lost their marbles after the three-count, certainly giving Vaquer a night to remember for the rest of her career.

The match ended after the Chilean hit her Vaquer Inferno top rope finisher, with special guest referee Becky Lynch doing the count. This bout was announced by Raw General Manager Adam Pearce the night before and follows the match the two had this past Monday on Raw where interference from Judgment Day helped Morgan retain the title.

After the finish while both women were still down, Morgan subtly wrapped her hand around Vaquer and hugged her and Vaquer tapped on her shoulder. Becky Lynch handed the title to Vaquer and she celebrated with the Chilean flag as well. Bayley, Sol Ruca, and Iyo Sky also came out to celebrate with Vaquer, with Sky lifting her up on her shoulders. Of course, WWE cameras were on hand the capture the beautiful moment!

Morgan will busy filming a movie which probably factored into the decision to do the title swap.
