Sol Ruca out with an injury, Zaria to defend NXT Women’s North American title on her behalf

Sol Ruca will no longer be wrestling at Halloween Havoc this weekend as she is not medically cleared following a knee injury.

Ruca was supposed to defend the NXT Women’s North American title against Blake Monroe on the show.

In an in-ring segment on NXT yesterday, Ruca, along with Zaria and NXT General Manager Ava, announced her injury and the news that she has no return date to action for the time being. Ruca suffered the injury on Smackdown in a tag team match for the WWE Women’s Tag Team titles and had to be helped to the back by Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss.

The NXT Women’s North American title will still be defended on the show though as Zaria will take her place and faces the original challenger, Blake Monroe.
