Smackdown TV report for 09/16/2022

Logan Paul comes out first. After his podcast with Roman Reigns, Paul challenged him and out comes Paul Heyman with the Bloodline. Heyman gets in the ring and shakes Logan’s hand and says he got this. The Usos, Solo Sikoa and Sami Zayn outside of the ring by the announce table.

Heyman says if there is anyone outside the WWE that could be a Paul Heyman guy it’s Logan Paul. Heyman then tells Logan he needs to pick a fight with someone else. Heyman then tells Logan he does not like him and needs to handle him and calls for Solo.

Logan says he bets Heyman he could knock Heyman out and be out of the ring before Solo gets in the ring. Sami Zayn steps in and tells Heyman he is not the right man for this job and Zayn says he should handle Logan Paul.

As Sami was trying to talk to Logan and gets close. Logan punches Zayn and knocks him down and The Usos and Sikoa get in the ring and Paul jumps out of the ring and Ricochet comes out who has a match with Zayn next…

Ricochet VS. Sami Zayn

Logan Paul is outside in Ricochet’s corner and Heyman and the Bloodline are still out there in Zayn’s corner.

Ricochet gets on the top rope and Jimmy Uso gets on the apron, Ricochet gets down and Logan Paul gets on the apron as Sami goes for the pin after a Blue Thunder Bomb, but Ricochet kicks out. Jey Uso this time gets involved and gets kicked off the apron by Ricochet and Sami grabs him and back suplexes him. Jey slides in the ring causing the official to procrastinate on counting the pin. Ricochet kicks out at 2. Sami goes over to the Bloodline and starts yelling at Jey and then gets out of the ring and goes head-to-head arguing with Jey. Jimmy attempts to separate the two and Ricochet comes over the top rope and takes all three out.

Ricochet throws Sami back in the ring and hits a shooting star press for the win.

Winner: Ricochet

After the match, the Bloodline gets on the apron and out comes Madcap Moss with a chair in hand, who was announced to be facing Solo Sikoa later for the North American Championship. The Bloodline back down.

Karrion Kross talks about Drew McIntyre and says he is never going to get out tick tock.

Max and Maxine Dupri in the ring next, they are here to show the Maximum Male Models back to school collection. As Mansoor and Mace were posing, Braun Strowman’s music hit and ran through the two.

After Strowman powerbombs Mansoor, Alpha Academy comes out and Otis attacks Strowman from behind. Otis power slams Strowman and both he and Gable jump out of the ring celebrating as Braun sits up in the ring and stares at them as Gable turns and sees Strowman getting up. Strowman rips his shirt off and tells Otis to get back in the ring but Gable talks Otis out of getting in the ring.

Bayley VS. Raquel Rodriguez

After trying to interfere, Raquel brings Dakota in the ring and slams her on Bayley then does an elbow off the ropes onto both of them. Iyo grabs Rodriguez and rakes her eyes and Bayley hits the rose plant and gets the win.

Winner: Bayley

After the match, the three team up and start beating Rodriguez and Shotzi comes out for the save.

Kayla Braxton was starting to interview Ronda Rousey and Liv Morgan comes in and challenges Ronda to an extreme rules match.

Drew McIntyre comes out and calls out Karrion Kross.

In the back the Bloodline is hyping Solo for his match and as Solo goes to leave for his match, he stops Jey and says he got this and he seems a little off his game tonight and then asks Sami Zayn if he was coming.

Solo Sikoa VS. Madcap Moss for the NXT North American Championship

After Sami pulls Sikoa out of the way of Moss’s attack, Moss is distracted by Sami causing Sikoa to hit a superkick and his finisher.

Winner and Still NXT North American Champion: Solo Sikoa

Hit Row VS. The New Day VS. Imperium VS. Brawling Brutes (Ridge Holland & Butch) in a fatal four-way #1 contenders match

Imperium hits their finisher on Kofi but prior to Kaiser jumping on Kofi, Holland tagged himself in and threw Kaiser out and pinned Kofi.

Winners: Brawling Brutes

Next week the Brawling Brutes take on the Usos for the WWE Undisputed Tag Team Championship
