Smackdown moving back to two hours from July 4 episode

WWE officially announced that Smackdown is moving back to two hours starting next Friday with the July 4 episode.

Smackdown will resume its regular 8PM to 10PM running time after six long months of three hour shows which started when Smackdown moved to USA Network in January 2025.

Next week’s episode from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, will be taped on Monday after Raw to allow the WWE Superstars and crew to enjoy the 4th of July holiday with their families.
