Smackdown going old school next week with a throwback edition on FOX

Next week’s Smackdown will be a throwback edition on FOX and judging from the commercial shown, the original Smackdown! logo will return for the show.

“Next Friday, we’re going back…way back. Friday Night Smackdown throwback edition, live next Friday 8/7 central only on FOX,” the commercial said, which also had the old Smackdown logo.

This is part of a throwback week promotion by FOX properties, mainly FS1.

The only match announced so far is Cesaro taking on Seth Rollins in a WrestleMania rematch.
