Shinsuke Nakamura received four staples to the head yesterday to close a cut he suffered during an NXT live event in Columbia, South Carolina.

The injury happened when Nakamura was wrestling Manny Andrade and hit a moonsault from the top rope to the floor. The match was stopped for a few minutes as WWE’s medical team attended to Nakamura. The former IWGP Intercontinental champion then resumed the match and went on to defeat his former rival who wrestled under the name La Sombra.

WWE’s NXT Twitter posted a photo of Nakamura after he got stapled and then the King of Strong Style tweeted that he’s doing okay.
