Shawn Michaels and The Undertaker are being advertised to appear on the January 9 Monday Night Raw in New Orleans, Louisiana. WWE.COM also added their graphics on the event page.

Shawn Michaels had been rumored to be part of the Royal Rumble for quite some time now since the show is happening in his home town of San Antonio, Texas. AJ Styles originally wanted HBK for a match but the WWE Hall of Famer has said that he had no interest in wrestling again after his retirement match against The Undertaker several years ago. His involvement at the Rumble is still a mystery at this point.

The Undertaker returned to WWE television on the November 15 episode of Smackdown which happened to be the 900th one. He said that Smackdown is his home and that he won’t be defined anymore by WrestleMania, suggesting that he would be making more appearances on television throughout the year.
