Severe thunderstorm watch in Tampa issued until at least 4PM ET

A severe thunderstorm watch has been issued until 4PM ET in the Tampa area by the National Weather Service.

The warning is for eight counties and the Raymond James Stadium where WrestleMania is held is in direct path of the storm. Radar images of the storm show that it should be clear by 5PM, three hours before WrestleMania is set to start.

At the moment it’s raining like crazy in Tampa with thick grey clouds covering the city. Yesterday, WWE staff had a race against time to fix the set after wind messed up the masts and WrestleMania logo and knocked over tons of chairs on the floor. Crew kept sweeping the entrance throughout the show even after rolling a carpet following a slip by Mandy Rose.
