Seven WWE Superstars to be part of the men’s 2018 Elimination Chamber match

The men’s Elimination Chamber will feature seven WWE Superstars instead of six as both Finn Balor and Seth Rollins were added to the mix last night. This will be the first time that the Chamber match will feature an odd number of Superstars.

The second chance fatal 4-way qualifying match between Balor, Crews, Hardy, and Wyatt was changed to a 5-way when Seth Rollins was included in the match. Confusion then arose when both Rollins and Balor pinned Bray Wyatt. The broadcast went off the air with no decision taken but WWE then went live on Facebook with platinum-blond Renee Young interviewing Raw General Manager Kurt Angle to discuss the outcome of the match.

When both Balor and Rollins pleaded their case to Angle, Angle told them they both deserve to be in the Elimination Chamber match and announced that this year’s match will be with seven Superstars.

Since the Elimination Chamber match has four pods, it’s likely that three will start the match rather than two and then the rest will join at regular intervals. The other individuals who will be part of the match this year are John Cena, The Miz, Roman Reigns, Braun Strowman, and Elias.
